New in Ref-Vision: AI events, sprint maps, and faster review
AI events on the timeline, sprint and event maps on the pitch, clip downloads, and speech notes — faster Sunday review in Ref-Vision.
We’ve had a busy week or so at Ref-Vision.
A lot of it came from how you actually review a match: finding the moments that matter, leaving a note without stopping to type, and sending a clip on without another hour in an editor. We’ve been shipping against that.
## AI-detected events
This is the one we’d start with.
Once your footage is processed, Ref-Vision now marks key match events on the timeline for you. Open the Tags tab, filter to AI, and jump straight to those moments instead of scrubbing the whole game.
Those tags sit with everything else on the match — your notes, coach feedback, Watch taps, and Veo highlights — so you can review the incident, not hunt for it.
## Sprint maps
If you’ve uploaded GPS and set pitch corners, the Heatmap tab now has a Sprint map.
It plots the high-speed efforts of the game on the pitch, coloured by intensity. Click a sprint and the video jumps to that moment, so you can see what you were sprinting to — and whether you arrived.
## Event map
Next to the heatmap and sprint map, there’s now an event map.
Where GPS is available, it pins where you were when events were tagged — AI, Watch, Veo, or manual. Hover to see the run-in. Click to open that moment in the video.
Positioning questions become a lot clearer when the event and your location are on the same pitch.
## Download clips from tags and feedback
You can now download a clip straight from a tag or a feedback note.
On feedback, the download includes a short branded slide at the start with the note on it, then the footage from that timestamp. It’s a much faster way to send a moment to a referee, mentor, or assessor without building the clip yourself.
## Speak instead of type
The workspace assistant, the game assistant, and the feedback box on the match page now take speech.
Tap the microphone, talk through the question or the note, check the text, then send. Same workflow as typing — just quicker when you’re watching the clip with a thought already formed.
